Introducing the lovely Melissa from Manawanui’s Customer Experience Centre (CEC) team. She is a recent addition to the team – having spent a wonderful 3 months at Manawanui!
As a part of the CEC team, Melissa talks to customers on the phone and via email, helping to make things easy and answering any questions.
We thought since many customers talk with Melissa on a daily basis, it would be nice to put a face to the name. So, we’ve asked her a few questions to get to know her a little better.
What attracted you to working at Manawanui?
I love what the company stands for. Helping people within the disabled community be able to manage their funding on their own - with our continued help on hand if they need it.
What inspires you?
Thinking about my future and the goals I have and seeing people smash their goals inspires me.
What is the best part about your job?
The best part about my job is being able to deliver people great news and helping people achieve their goals.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love to cross stitch, binge TV shows and spend time with family and friends. Oh, and my animals!! Can’t forget my animals!
What is your favourite movie or book?
My favourite movie is 10 Things I Hate About You as I have a soft spot for Heath Ledger.

The CEC team operate Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm and are available for all Manawanui customers who have completed their onboarding experience (through our trained coaches). The CEC team ensure all customers get the support they require, if the on-line portal or their onboarding guide can’t help them answer their queries.
